About Mirak Restaurant
Mirak Restaurant is a Korean eatery located at 1134 S Western Ave in Los Angeles, known primarily for its black goat stew (heugyeomso-tang), a highly praised specialty featuring mildly spicy flavors and accompanied by a variety of banchan and a notable spicy mustard dipping sauce. The stew is often recommended for its rich taste and perceived health benefits.

SOUTH KOREA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - Inside the restaurant, the familiar smell of goat meat floats everywhere, mixed with the spices and herbs bubbling in pots on every table. The reason to come here, and what is creating all that tantalizing aroma, is the black goat meat stew ($49.99), known as heugyeomso-tang (흑염소전골) and the first item on the menu. It is meant for two people, but could certainly be shared by three or even four. Like most Korean meals, it arrives with a full complement of banchan to nibble on before and during your meal, as well as a special dipping mix heavy on chili and spicy mustard. If you do not do it immediately, the staff will encourage you to mix this up very well before starting.

One of the best goat stews that I ever had!! Highly recommend for anyone who craves for goat. The flavor is mildly spicy, goes well with the rice at the end The aunties were very friendly and nice too!
